The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG) is inviting firms to participate in a tender process for a Site Investigation Contractor framework.

LOCOG is seeking a site investigation contractor to provide assessment of existing ground conditions at various venues; the following investigation and testing works will be required:

• Establish the geological profile across the site, to a depth that could influence or be affected by the works - using various methods including bore holes, window samples and trial pitsEstablish or confirm the absence of contamination
• Recover samples for testing
• Install piezometers/standpipes for groundwater and gas measurements
• Identify and locate underground services
• Identify presence of archaeological features, buried structures and services and any other anthropogenic features using geophysical surveys
• Intrusive and non intrusive investigations of existing reinforced concrete structures
