As indicated above Michael Thompson steps down as Executive Director on May 1st and is replaced by Phil Wilson who is currently Operations Director. We are also pleased to announce two new members of staff who will be offering their support and expertise to the widening scope of activities currently managed at the Birmingham office.

Business Development Manager Paul Sansom together with Sustainability Coordinator Alan McBeth joined WMCCE in March.

Paul Sansom has had many years experience in industry specialising in Business Strategy, Sales and Marketing. For the last 5 years Paul has been working as a senior consultant on regional programmes helping businesses with new product development in the West Midlands.

Alan McBeth, trained as an architect, has been involved in designing and building for over 20 years. This includes working on projects both in the private and public sector which include retail, commercial offices healthcare and transportation.Alan has a particular interest in environmental design and sustainability which is now integral to all issues regarding the built environment.

Paul and Alan are both looking forward to working on new initiatives and supporting the improvements of WMCCE’S current services to the construction industry.
