(www.alumet.co.uk) staged a ceremony for the presentation of The
Queen's Award for Enterprise. This is the second time in 5 years that
the company has received this prestigious accolade and the Lord
Lieutenant of Warwickshire Mr. Martin Dunne duly came along to carry
out the presentation.
The presentation ceremony also corresponded with the company's annual open-day and several local dignitaries were in attendance including The High Sheriff of Warwickshire, The Chair of Warwickshire County Council, The Chair of Warwick District Council, The Chairman of Stratford-On-Avon District Council and The Deputy Mayor of Southam.
The award was in the Innovation category and recognised Alumet's pioneering work in facade development which includes the revolutionary bomb-blast resistant off-site constructed glazed walling system.
In 2007, Alumet also won WMCCE Construction Excellence Award in the Innovation category.
