Constructing Excellence recently published a report produced by an eminent panel of industry leaders which looked at the industry's progress since Rethinking Construction was published in 1998.  The report examines the Egan agenda and how we have performed against it.

It then examines whether the Egan agenda is still relevant and, if so, what the barriers to its success have been and how they might be overcome.

Constructing Excellence's Chief Executive, Don Ward, will present the report for us and you will be given the oportunity to signify your agreement, or otherwise, with its conclusions using our interactive voting equipment.  

Just like our event last November, it promises to be lively, topical and perhaps controversial.  For those that attended November's debate and felt the last question about "why does lowest cost prevail despite what you tell us?" was not answered (and lots of people tell us that is their opinion!) we are asking Don to start by giving us his thoughts on this question - which are topical to the report.
