

Business Link West Midlands has developed a series of breakfast
workshops to provide businesses with practical advice to help reduce
costs and optimise their utilisation of resources through increased
resource efficiency. In February and March 2010, five workshops will be
held on ‘Resource Efficiency and Waste Mapping’. Between April and June
2010, five additional workshops will be held focusing on ‘Resource
Efficiency and Environmental Management Systems - An Integrated
Approach’.
The programme of events will be delivered by Rebecca Kent, Specialist
Environmental Consultant and Simon Drury, Senior Environmental Project

The workshops will provide delegates with:
Independent, practical, help and advice on how to minimise unnecessary resource usage and drive effective cost savings
Advice on how to identify, measure and manage resource efficiency potential
Techniques to integrate a resource efficiency strategy into a new or existing Environmental Management System
Ways to prioritise and deliver effective, resource focused programmes of continuous environmental improvement
Guidance on where to find further information, advice and assistance
