WMCCE and BREEAM are pleased to invite you to attend a FREE  workshop arranged to discuss BREEAM Refurbishment: Education Buildings.

Over the coming months we are aiming to review and draft a new version of BREEAM focused specifically on refurbishment projects. This new BREEAM Refurbishment scheme will assess the sustainability issues impacting upon this type of project and will consider the opportunities and limitations of refurbishments. This workshop will be aimed at Education buildings. The workshop will be focused around 3 main objectives:

Objective 1 – Active participation from a range of stakeholders to obtain a constructive critique of the current BREEAM technical criteria in relation to the refurbishment of education establishments

Objective 2 – To obtain solutions to the above critique

Objective 3 – To enhance the BREEAM refurbishment scheme by expanding the scope of existing issues within the scheme and creating new relevant issues.

This workshop will be an intensive day where we would expect full participation from the group. Acceptance of this invite will indicate a willingness to participate in further discussion and reviews on any new criteria.
