The Modern Built Environment Knowledge Transfer Network is carrying out a range of activities to raise awareness of the E2B EI with UK companies and ultimately encourage more UK companies to take part in consortia. The E2B EI is a €2 billion programme over the next 10 years which aims to deliver, implement and optimise building concepts that have the technical, economic and social potential to drastically reduce the energy consumption and decrease CO2 emissions within the European Union.  Obviously this creates tremendous opportunities, which UK companies can capitalise on.
 
A dedicated group has been set up on the MBE KTN _connect platform which acts as a focal point for information about the initative, useful links and an online networking resource.
 
This year's call topics will be announced on 30th July 2010 and this webinar will consider the call topics in detail and the support the MBE KTN can provide.
