practice group FORCE visited Sampson Close, a sustainable housing

23-home scheme is being built on a brown field site in north-east Coventry
and combines a mix of terraced housing and apartments. When complete it will be the Midlands first and the UKs largest social housing scheme to obtain PassivHaus Certification
West Midlands Centre for Constructing Excellence (WMCCE) is supporting growing construction company, Ecostruct develop a long term expansion strategy.
The stratgey includes a key focus on innovation in sustainable construction methods. In particular, the company has developed a number of new products in offsite building and the 'Retrofit for the Future' social housing market.
Network Rail is
rebuilding New Street station – a project which will generate over £2bn in
transport and wider economic benefits for the region.
The project was started in April 2010 – to redevelop the 1960s-designed
station, which is now used by more than double the number of passengers it was
built for (140,000 passengers use the station each day).
Over
200 local business leaders came to the finditinbirmingham.com breakfast
